About the Event
During Refugee week 2020; We want to create the conversation on migration and anti-migration; racism and xenophobia and how they will be dealt with by politics and societies worldwide. Especially take into account the recent event in the USA.
Who is Vulnerable? Who is Resilient?
What is made visible depends on Who is telling the Story. Who is affected by the global issue – the Covid-19 pandemic. And in the conversation especially in terms of migration flows and xenophobia, racism and anti-immigrant sentiment and how they will be dealt with by politics and societies worldwide
The Aim is to feed “Our” side of the story – Our Narratives to the Policies affecting and impacting the ones who are “Vulnerable” and Why. The objective is also to highlight and raise the visibility and voice of the ones who are “Resilient’.
In doing so, together, we aim to take our movement ‘New Women Connectors’ to fight against discrimination and gender inequality in times of New Vulnerabilities New Resilience. What is made visible depends on who is telling the story. Who is most affected by the global issue – the Covid-19 pandemic.
