Migration is not a problem to be solved—it is a human reality shaped by courage, resilience, and hope. Yet far-right politicians continue to weaponize it, fueling fear and hatred for political gain. These dangerous narratives are echoed by the media, reinforcing harmful stereotypes and deepening the injustice faced by migrant communities. It’s time to shift the conversation—centering migrant voices, challenging xenophobia, and defending the right to move, live, and belong with dignity.
💥 Are you feeling the weight of these challenging times? Are you ready to change the public conversation, be part of a narrative shift and make your voice heard?
📢 Join our new project, 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆𝘁𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗽, where we partner with BAK in Utrecht!
Storytelling is a transformative tool that fosters solidarity, builds connections, and transcends cultural, social, and linguistic barriers. It is more than a medium of expression, but rather a pathway to reclaiming narratives and redefining identities, creating a shared human experience between storytellers and audiences. Stories can bridge divides and cultivate a sense of community of people with different backgrounds.
👉 Are you interested in learning how to craft and tell your story, are based in the Netherlands and can commit to all training sessions (3 in-person and 3 online)? Then this project is for you! Join us for Storytelling Basecamp, receive professional storytelling mentorship and learn how to craft your story!
