As autumn slowly approaches, we are also back with our newest event!

Back in June, we hosted a profound, eye-opening afternoon in The Hague, with two workshops and a panel discussion with brilliant experts in various fields: arts, politics and entrepreneurship.

We are delighted to announce our next event: ‘Meaningful Participation in Practice’, an interactive workshop designed to unpack what meaningful participation looks like, and why it’s crucial in advocacy, policy and community action. By centering lived experiences, this approach keeps the focus on impact and leads to policies, programmes and decisions that reflect the needs and demands of migrant communities. Whether through shaping decisions, delivering solutions, or both, it is a proven way to shift power and drive long-term change (emoji)

Together, through this interactive workshop, we will:

- Build a shared understanding of meaningful participation and learn how to apply it in advocacy,

activism, community-building and decision-making

- Reflect on lived experiences and systemic barriers

- Co-create practical recommendations to strengthen migrant-led influence in policy and community work

We’re thrilled that two special guests will be joining us: Open Embassy and Opvang Oekraïne Gemeente Almere (Municipality of Almere) will be sharing insights, best practices and experiences of promoting the participation of migrants.

Join us and be a part of the conversation! Make your voices heard, and together, we can shape the narratives about us! The event is free of charge and everyone is welcome to attend. 🌟
